Merry Christmas To Me

I take it back. Forget everything I said. I would SOOOOO much rather have vomit on my newly cleaned bathroom floor than all over the carpet, comforter, pillow, clothes, dresser, toys, trashcan, and bunk bed.

Scott and I were just wrapping up a rousing game of Word Drop and had just seen Clark Griswold wax his sled and go flying when we heard the tell-tale signs from upstairs. I won't go into TOO many details, but cleaning it involved lots of scraping and scrubbing, and several things were thrown away. Ugh. I want to fumigate and disinfect the entire house. And because I love you Internets, I did NOT take any photos with my (insert Rod Roddy's voice here) BRAND NEW CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, that is right! I was a good girl this year and Scotty said we could get each other a new Fancy Schmancy camera for Christmas! It arrived this week and I'm slowly trying to learn how to use it. I think I am going to love it.

The poor little crab looks like Jenna felt this week when she said, "I hate it when this happens. It feels like my brain is moving." (I'm guessing she was dizzy.)

But now, with my new Fancy Schmancy Camera, the little crab looks like this:

He feels much better now, I think. I wish I could say the same of the digestive systems in my house.

I'll be sure to bore you with lots more Fancy Schmancy Camera Photos real soon. It has approximately forty zillion settings. I'm hoping it has a setting for editing off the ten pounds I've gained lately. Yet despite those ten pounds, tomorrow I'm going to eat these:

Life is meant to be enjoyed, right?
My diet shall commence Tuesday, January 8th. If I have to clean carpet again like I did tonight, I might start losing weight sooner, though.
